Your GPA is built course by course, not at the end. Add the grade and credit hours for each course, and your weighted GPA updates itself. Then, if you want, find out what GPA you need in the courses you have left.
An A in a 4-credit course moves your GPA far more than an A in a 1-credit one — that is exactly what "weighted" means, as opposed to a plain average. Add your courses below, even just a few, to get a feel for it.
| Grade (GPA points) | Credit hours |
|---|
Give your current weighted GPA, credit hours completed, total credit hours for the program, and the GPA you're aiming for: we work out the average you'd need in the remaining hours, spread evenly — it does not account for how those hours split across individual courses, it's an estimate.
Sur 20 in France, 1–5 in Germany, sobre 10 in Spain, base 110 in Italy: the same weighted-average idea uses a different formula in every country. Pick your language from the menu above — each version uses the real local scale, not a rough conversion.
Log each course once, and WeFocusBuddy recalculates your GPA automatically, alongside a timer with weighted hours and, if you like, study sessions on video call with other people. Free, no ads, database and video calls on EU servers.
Whatever your institution assigns to that course, usually 1 to 5. If your school uses a different unit (European credits, quarter units), use that number consistently across every course and the weighting still works the same way.
If the average required in your remaining hours would be above 4.0, even straight A's would not get you there — we tell you that instead of showing a meaningless number. The opposite happens if your target is already locked in even with the lowest passing grade.
