If you're looking for a physical place in your town, an online room won't replace it. It helps in the hours when that place isn't there: Sundays, late at night, holidays, when the bookable seats have run out, or when the nearest library is an hour's bus ride away.
The session starts anyway. For the first 5 minutes we look for someone while you work. If nobody arrives, you choose: carry on with a virtual companion, which is not a real person, try again in the next quarter hour, or leave. Fewer people book at night, and it's fair to know that in advance.
The surest way to have someone there is to bring them yourself.

This one is online and on Sundays it's open like any other day: a session starts every quarter hour, at every hour of the day and night. You book a time and at that minute you're on a video call with another person who booked the same.
